By accessing or using PodSubs.ai, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the following terms:

1. Platform Description

PodSubs.ai provides AI-driven services for translating, analyzing, and commenting on YouTube videos in various languages. Users can:

Watch embedded YouTube videos. View translated subtitles, descriptions, chapters, and AI-generated commentary. Paste any YouTube link for translation and analysis (requires token-based service). Download subtitles or transcriptions of videos. Engage with AI assistants (AlterAI and ChatGPT) to discuss video content.

Content is generated algorithmically and may include errors. Opinions expressed by speakers or AI assistants do not represent PodSubs.ai. All videos use the official YouTube iframe and include a "Source: YouTube — all rights reserved to the creators" attribution.

2. Users & Access

The platform is for educational and reflective purposes and does not include content unsuitable for minors. Parental consent may be required depending on local laws. All users are protected by the EU’s GDPR.

3. Registration & Subscription

PodSubs.ai can be used for up to 60 minutes per day without an account, but without saving content. Free registration allows saving data, while a paid subscription (€5/month) offers unlimited use. Subscriptions are non-auto-renewing. Upon expiration, accounts revert to free usage (60 minutes/day). Account data remains stored, but no new data can be saved during free usage.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may download AI-generated material (subtitles, descriptions, commentary) for educational and public use, provided proper attribution to PodSubs.ai and the corresponding URL is included. Edited versions must be labeled as "edited." AI-generated comments must not be altered. Sharing video links is encouraged to view content in its native environment.

5. Intellectual Property

Videos remain the property of their creators and YouTube. PodSubs.ai retains rights to the AI-generated content (subtitles, transcripts, commentary). These materials can be used publicly but not commercially without permission. All video display on the platform is done via YouTube’s embedding feature.

6. Content Disclaimer

The views expressed on PodSubs.ai, whether from humans or AI, do not necessarily reflect the platform’s opinions. Services are provided "as is" without any guarantee regarding accuracy or completeness. We are not responsible for damages (e.g., data loss, errors) or interruptions due to third-party services (like YouTube).

7. Service Changes or Discontinuation

PodSubs.ai reserves the right to modify features, pricing, or service availability. Significant changes will be announced on our website.

8. Account and Data Deletion

Users can delete their accounts anytime through account settings. Personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except for legal or billing records. After deletion, the process is irreversible.

9. Privacy Policy

The processing of personal data is governed by our [Privacy Policy].

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law and the EU GDPR. Any disputes will be handled by the courts in Athens, Greece. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain in full force.
